Slaughtered Horses Discovered in Hialeah Gardens

Another horrific slaughtering of horses in South Florida.

A land surveyor spotted the three horse carcasses and called police. Laurie Waggoner with the South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals describes the scene off NW 136th Ave and 178th Street in Hialeah Gardens as gruesome. She says the horses were clearly butchered for human consumption, which can be toxic because of vaccinations and medications domesticated horses regularly receive.

Miami-Dade Police are investigating.
