Live in Florida? There's $1.4 Billion In Emergency Rental Assistance Coming

Governor De Santis announced today (Jan 12th) that there's more rental assistance is coming our way for Floridians. The United States Department of the Treasury will provide $1.4 billion in emergency rental assistance to Floridians.

You will be eligible for assistance if you meet the following criteria:

• Qualifies for unemployment or has experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced a financial hardship due to COVID-19.

• Demonstrates a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

• Has a household income at or below 80 percent of the area median income, with priority given to households below 50 percent of the area median income.
