With the holidays around the corner and online shopping still in growth, especially due to the pandemic, it's not surprise that companies like UPS and Amazon are hiring.
Just this morning (Monday Sept 14th) Amazon announced they are looking to fill about 100,000 positions nationwide in warehouses, delivery stations and other locations. Pay will start at $15 an hour with benefits and they're also offering sign-on bonuses of $1000 in select cities.
Amazon is also hiring for corporate and tech positions. These are being filled via a virtual career day to be held this Wednesday. Employees hired for those corporate jobs will receive an average pay of $150,000, including salary, stock-based compensation and benefits.
In addition the open positions within the company, Amazon is also offering 20,000 free career coaching sessions. More details can be found here.
