Early Monday morning Ventura Sheriff's Department shared the news that a body had been found in Lake Piru, where they've been searching for actress Naya Rivera since Wednesday. In an afternoon press conference held at 2PM/PT authorities confirmed that the body was in fact identified as Rivera.
Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said "We are confident the body we found is that of Naya Rivera," adding "there is no indication of foul play or that this was a suicide."
The body is being taken to Ventura County Coroner's Office, where it will be identified through dental records.
Rivera rented a boat with her son Josey Hollis Dorsey and when authorities found the boy on the boat alone he said he and his mother had gone swimming and his mom hadn't come back.
