Lady Gaga Faces Possible ‘Shallow’ Lawsuit

What I don’t understand is how it takes so long to file this lawsuit when the song has been out for months now. Reports say that Lady Gaga had to hire an attorney because there is a songwriter who says the melody for Shallow was stolen.

The songwriter’s name is Steven Ronsen and his song is called “Almost”, released in 2012 according to the New York Post.

“Mr. Ronsen and his lawyer are trying to make easy money off the back of a successful artist,” Orin Snyder, the lawyer representing Gaga, told the Post. “It is shameful and wrong. I applaud Lady Gaga for having the courage and integrity to stand up on behalf of successful artists who find themselves on the receiving end of such [claims].”

The three notes are SO common in music. Even Dust in the Wind has these 3 notes... Listen to all the songs below...
