We're all familiar with the football anthem "Game On" by Carrie Underwood. It's the anthem of the whole season.
According to Billboard, Underwood is accused of copying the track! Heidi Merrill, a songwriter, says she wrote the song two years ago and submitted it to Underwood and her producer but it got turned down.
Merrill says the songs are Underwood's "Game On" version is “substantially — even strikingly — similar, if not identical” to the cut she pitched initially, specifically "in title as well as tempo, meter, time signature, hooks, chord progression and other specifics," per the report.
