Demi Lovato Stable After Being Hospitalized for Apparent Overdose

Addition is such a terrible disease. My heart breaks for this young, beautiful, talented woman who does so much to empower others but is still suffering from this.

Updates so far includes that she was found unconscious by paramedics in her L.A. home and treated with Narcan which is an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses. More recent updates by People and Variety say say she is in stable condition.

TMZ also reported that Demi was out Monday night and on pictures posted to her private Instagram account she looked happy.

Just about a month ago Lovato released her single "Sober" with powerful lyrics confessing to her followers that she was no longer sober. She had been 6 years sober from alcohol, cocaine and Oxycontin.

Momma, I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore

And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor

To the ones who never left me

We've been down this road before

I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore

Demi's aunt, Kerissa Dunn, created a Twitter account to inform followers that Demi has "seen the amount of love for her on social media and wants to thank everybody for their support" and that she's stable.

Just hours before being sent to the hospital Demi shared with her 56 million follower that she'd be appearing on Beat Shazam but FOX replaced the episode saying "In light of recent reports, we have decided to replace the episode of BEAT SHAZAM with another all-new episode. Our thoughts go out to Demi and her family." The show was taped with host Jamie Fox back in December.

Celebrities and friends have shared their love and concern for the singer on their socials sending prayers and offering encouragement.

This story is still developing and we will keep you updated on this blog post as more news come in.

TMZ shared the 911 call as well and the you can find the audio below.
