Earlier today George Clooney was rushed to the hospital in Italy after being hit by a car while riding his scooter on the island of Sardinia. NBC News reported that his injuries were not serious although officials say he did suffer “trauma to his knee“.
Clooney is staying in Italy while he stars in the film Catch 22. According to local newspaper La Nuova Sardegna, upon hearing the news of his accident, his wife Amal Clooney -who is also spending time in Italy -rushed to be by his side.
George has since been discharged and will hopefully be fully healed and back to work in no time!
