Avengers: Infinity War Was INSANE (No Spoilers)

First things first, make sure you pee before the movie starts. My bladder almost exploded but there's no way I was going to miss a single scene.

That being said, I have seen… yeah, every single Marvel movie before this one. I am also familiar with the comic book story line (I dated one very good looking comic book nerd for over five years) and even so, I felt I was on the brink of an emotional breakdown every 5 to 7 minutes during this film.

I have never watched a movie that gives you chills, makes you audibly gasp, laugh, and tear up before the opening credits even come on. Without giving anything away I can tell you that the movie doesn't end the way you'd expect it to. I can tell you that there are characters who will die in ways that will damage your psyche for at least the remainder of the week. I can tell you there are moments for the hopeless romantics (and no, I'm not talking about Hulk and Black Widow), there are moments for the feminists, there are WTF moments, and then it ends, which is the biggest moment of them all.

All said breathtaking, triumphant, heartbreaking moments are accompanied by the customary wit and humor of all the characters; but in this particular film the writers went above and beyond at flawlessly mixing the comedy into the high intensity points of the movie. You might giggle with tears in your eyes.

I hope I don't need to tell you that there are scenes after the credits. So if you didn't pee before the movie, this would be the time. Just make sure you come back! Cause those after-the-credits scenes will blow your mind too... (That's all I can say about that.)

After talking to Anthony Mackie in my podcast CHATSwithGiGi, I felt a special type of happy seeing him as Falcon on the big screen. Listen in on the full interview for some fun behind the scenes anecdotes and how he relates to the character.

There was one particularly intense scene with Letitia Wright that, not only made my blood pressure spike, but made me really happy because when she came into the show, she totally downplayed the strength of her character, Shuri, the teen genius princess of Wakanda, (as well as what a kick-a** job she did playing her.) It's no wonder fans are calling to officially make her the next Disney princess.

In case you've been living under a rock and none of this makes sense. Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of 10 years of Marvel amazingness on the big screen. It's where nearly all your favorite characters come together, in the most epic way, to confront Thanos who wants to destroy the world, and is totally capable of it. This is arguably the biggest enemy the Avengers have ever had to face, literally and figuratively. But, watch the trailer. They do a much better job at explaining the premise than I do. Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters April 27th.
